Regarding the operation in 2012, selling in the domestic market occupied around 20% while foreign market occupied around 80%. Among the exportation, the US market occupied about 20%, China more than 20%, other Asian areas more than 10%, and the EU around 20%. Within all these areas, North America showed significant growth and the EU maintained its usual import while China, the largest market in the world, downgraded its import.
In summary, YCM has about 10% growth in 2012. For 2013, Chairman Chen stated that according to the World Economic Outlook by IMF and the studies by Chung-Hua Institute for Economic Research, the global economy looks optimistic and hence YCM set the 2013 operation goal at 20% growth.
In the TIMTOS 2013 exhibition, YCM will target certain buyers from specific sectors. Buyers from North America buying machine tools for aerospace and automotive industries, buyers from Mexico, China, and Southeast Asia buying machine tools for automotive industry, and buyers from the EU buying for energy industry are all very important. And the EU buyers, though the economy is still stranded, are enthusiastic in the energy industry and they have contacted YCM, so they will also be potential buyers.
