Positive sentiments
Confidence has returned to the plastics and rubber sector following strong rebounds in industry and economic performances in 2010, demonstrating its capacity for innovation and growth. In Thailand, increasingly viewed as Southeast Asia's industrial hub for multinational companies, the plastics processing industry is expected to play an important part in the country's economic resurgence. As part of the National Strategic Plan for Materials Technology (2007-2016), developing materials technologies across sectors from automobile, machinery, and parts industries, to alternative energies, is a priority that has been earmarked by the Thai government.
Giving export-oriented companies an international platform to forge new customer ties, strengthen existing relations and intensify dialogue opportunities with their customers, on show at TIPREX 2011 will be the latest technological innovations and solutions for the plastics and rubber industries.
The 4-day exhibition will also see a series of seminars and conferences organised by industry experts from trade publications and professional consultants. Topics that will be presented include plastics in automotive applications, new developments in thermoplastic elastomers, as well as new rubber and plastics technology.
