TIPREX 2013: Moulding the future

Presenting a comprehensive range of products, services and innovations from basic to advanced solutions, TIPREX (Thai International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition) is an international showcase of current and emerging trends, and technological developments.

A plastics and rubber exhibition that was first launched six years ago for the industry, by the industry, TIPREX is jointly organised by Messe Duesseldorf Asia, Thai Plastic Industries Association and The Federation of Thai Industries - Plastic Industry Club. The exhibition is supported by Messe Duesseldorf GmbH, organiser of K, the No. 1 international trade fair for plastics and rubber.

TIPREX 2013 is the fastest link to ASEAN’s dynamic plastics and rubber industries. Held in one of ASEAN’s most dynamic economies – Thailand – the exhibition brings together the leading players in the plastics and rubber industry. This year, 250 leading exhibiting companies from 20 countries are expected to show off their products and services. National pavilions and groups from Austria, China, Germany, Italy, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand are present to bring the latest products from these countries.

The show has become a one-stop venue for the world’s best with its range of technology, machinery, equipment, raw materials, products and services from the global plastics and rubber industry. Participants to the show get the chance to check out cross-border networking opportunities where they can forge new business partnership and cultivate business relations. Exhibitors and visitors can achieve synergistic business relationship and enhance their strategic capabilities through the various activities and services provided during the show.

Having exceeded all expectations in attracting a strong turnout of some 10,500 qualified trade visitors in 2011, of which about 15 percent were from overseas, TIPREX has taken an important position in the region’s industrial arena due to its relevant programme and activities geared towards enhancing manufacturing and trade.

This year, several value-added events have been scheduled for the benefits of visitors. As a concurrent event to TIPREX, the Plastics Industry Club, the Federation of ThaiIndustries will be hosting the 15th ASEAN Federation of Plastic Industries (AFPI) Council Meeting on April 2-3. The annual meeting is for delegates and members from the ASEAN plastics industry to exchange views and information and to discuss issues relating and vital to their plastics industry. Various technical seminars and presentations have been scheduled to disseminate valuable information to professionals engaged in plastics and rubber processing.
