TIPREX 2013 seals position as leading industry event

The 4th edition of The Thai International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition (TIPREX) is set to focus on key growth sectors and trends including new plastic and rubber technologies, innovative manufacturing and processing applications from 3 – 6 April at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre(BITEC).

This year’s edition sees a 20% increase in international exhibitor participation from China, Germany, Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam. More than 250 exhibitors from 21 countries including eight national pavilions and country groups from Austria, China, Germany, Italy, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand will be present at the trade fair. Over 10,000 trade visitors are expected to attend this much anticipated trade fair which is now recognised as the leading platform for new business opportunities into Thailand and the region’s robust plastic and rubber sectors.

The exhibition for the industry, by the industry, is jointly organized by the Thai Plastic Industries Association, Plastic Industry Club of the Federation of Thai Industries, and Messe Düsseldorf Asia. It will feature leading brand names such as Arburg GmbH & Co KG, ASB (Thailand), Buss Asia Pacific, NGR – Next Generation Recycling Maschinen, Mahakit Rubber, PTT Global Chemicals, Rieckermann (Thailand), SCG Chemicals and Starlinger & Co, Battenfeld - Cincinnati Austria. In addition to new exhibitors, strong support and presence from local small and medium sized companies as well as a range of supply chain tier manufacturers and specialists from around the world is testament to Thailand’s strength as a leading global hub of plastics manufacturing in the region.

Thai converters showcase
A major highlight at TIPREX 2013 is the Thai Converters showcase which complements a comprehensive display of machinery and equipment, semi-finished products, technical parts, raw materials, auxiliaries, processing solutions and services at the trade fair. This showcase provides an opportunity for Thai processors and manufacturers to display semi-finished and finished products. It caters to a wide range of industrial and consumer markets from automotive, packaging, construction to the healthcare, electrical and electronics industries.

According to Mr. Gernot Ringling, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf Asia, “The Thai Converters showcase is a must-see feature at TIPREX 2013.
