tna launches 30th anniversary competition

SYDNEY – To mark 30 years in business, global packaging solutions specialist tna today launches an innovative multi-platform competition designed as a thank you to customers, suppliers and staff, offering one lucky competition entrant a diamond worth $5,000 – picked at a gala ‘Cirque du tna’ event at PackExpo Chicago, in October.

Well known in the industry for breaking with convention, tna were the first to market with the original vertical form fill and seal (VFFS) bagger, tna robag, back in 1983. This trend towards thinking innovatively and creatively now sees the company embarking on an ambitious global competition to stimulate the industry in the run up to PackExpo.

The competition is now live with a number of creative monthly contests, quizzes and puzzles, all contributing points to an overall entrant’s score. Shayne De la Force, tna’s group marketing manager, explains the unusual competition: “People expect the unexpected from tna. We’ve been successful for 30 years because we work hard at being the best and because we do what we say we’re going to do. In celebrating our diamond anniversary, we want to do something that is memorable, is durable and is open to as many people in the packaging sector as possible. We think this competition reflects this sentiment, and we’re thrilled to be launching this exciting competition.”
