Toshiba debuts B-FV4 bar code label printer

TOSHIBA Tec (TOKYO:6588) has recently introduced the B-FV4 series of label printer.

Toshiba’s new bar code printer range features 13% faster first label print and 8% faster batch printing, making it more powerful than the Toshiba B-EV4 series. 

Designed to boost efficiency for a wide range of labels, the B-FV4 series is suitable for the retail, logistics, industrial, courier, healthcare, and commercial services

The compact and robust product can fit into small workspaces and is flexible enough to be integrated into any environment, offering an affordable yet powerful label printing solution. Its rugged features support heavy use such as consecutive prints of shipping labels in the logistics and courier industries.

The B-FV4 series features up to 300m long ribbon to reduce media changes and enhance workflow efficiency. It supports multiple printer control languages for easy integration into existing setups. It also features a LAN interface as standard and drop-in paper loading. Two print modes are supported--direct thermal and thermal transfer. 

 

To support environment-friendly trends, the B-FV4D and B-FV4T printers have Energy Star qualification and feature low energy consumption. A version of the B-FV4D uses linerless label material to eliminate the need for a backing liner and reduce waste.
