Trade meetings at TaipeiPlas expected to generate $13.36 million sales

At this year’s TaipeiPlas, one valuable service rendered to visitors is the holding of trade meetings, including one-on-one meetings, where buyer and seller got to meet and negotiate for the best deals.  

The meetings featured 57 buyers from 17 countries, including: China, Brazil, Turkey, the U.A.E., Kuwait, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Spain, Romania, Kenya, Japan, Albania, Bangladesh, Mexico, the Sudan and

Uganda.   

In response to recent international markets’ economic downturn, TAITRA was granted additional funding from the Taiwanese government  to sponsor a record number of foreign buyers to attend TaipeiPLAS 2012, and the various trade meetings scheduled. TAITRA organized more than 270 one-on-one meetings with over 70 Taiwanese exporters. 

According to TAITRA, the Trade Meetings were hoping to realize US$ 13.36 million worth of new orders for the Industry.
