TSM regrind

TSM control systems have developed a third critical component which is becoming crucial in the use of regrind and flake materials – that is material head pressure. After considerable development TSM offer a crammer which is capable of processing up to 100% recycled bottle flake or regrind, and which is available on the complete batch blender range. This unique technological advance allows the processing of even the most difficult flake  regrinds from all sectors of the plastics industry. This latest feature will  not only improve material flow and mixing characteristics but also means higher percentage regrind dosing with the corresponding elimination of material blockage. This makes the TSM blender not only friendly to the environment, but also enables a 1 month payback on initial spend. The TSM blender mixing chamber - which houses the patented positive displacement mixing crammer, guarantees homogenous mixing with no separation of materials  regardless of regrind percentages or material density. There is also the consistent head pressure (cramming) on the material caused by a downward force from the mixing crammer rotation.
