
ANTALYA, Turkey - The Anfas Food Product 21st International Food Specialization Fair, the largest and most comprehensive food fair held in Turkey, as well as the "Anfas Bevex" Beverage Specialization Fair to be held simultaneously, shall be open to visitors from 19-22 February 2014 at Antalya Expo Center.
This year, companies from Greece, Hungary, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Russia, Poland as well as Turkey will exhibit their latest food and beverage products. On showcase will be: meat and meat products; milk and milk products; poultry products and game meats; seafood; fresh or dried fruits and vegetables; frozen food and canned goods; biscuits; honey, jam, chocolate and candies; oils; legumes; alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks; and food packages.
The fair, which recorded over 400 participating companies and 5,000 brands last year, expects some 45,000 visitors from around 40 countries in 2014.
The Wine Street, to be specifically decorated within the Anfas Food Product Fair, shall allow companies to introduce themselves. Connoisseurs and sommeliers from Turkey and other countries shall visit the fair under the "2nd Professional Tasting Days" programme, which will host such activities as tastings at Wine Street, Blind Tastings for Banquette Wines, Wine and Health Panel, Raki and Fish: Perfect Match Workshop, Beer and Hamburger Workshop, Traditional Turkish Cuisine and Turkish Wines Workshop. The 6th Creative Barmen Competition and "Gluten-Free Life Certification Program will be held in cooperation with Cooks and Chefs Federation of Turkey as well as "Tasting Days for Ottoman Cuisine", offering Ottoman Tastes and "Chocolate Activities".
