Unilever, P&G receive business award

UNILEVER Gulf and Procter & Gamble were recipients of the Mohammed binRashid Al Maktoum Business Award, on its 7th cycle held at the Madinat Jumeirah inDubai, in November.

H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, deputy rulerof Dubai, presented the award, which honours excellence in business specifically inpromoting growth and innovation and a culture of corporate social responsibility in theUAE. It aims to serve as an incentive for the private sector to improve their services anduplift institutional performance, according to the Dubai Chamber of Commerce andIndustry which organised the awards.

Other recipients were: Dubai Carbon Centre of Excellence PJSC, Abu Dhabi IslamicBank, DP World, Barakat Quality Plus LLC, Drydocks World, Al Mansoori SpecializedEngineering (MSE), National Fire Fighting Manufacturing, Intercoil International CoLLC, Palm Utilities LLC, EPPCO Aviation, Pacific Control Systems LLC, Huawei Tech (UAE) FZ-LLC, Valtrans Transportation Systems and Services LLC and Eros Group.
