Hydrotech Discfilter™ HSF2200-1C compact unit

Suitable for small to medium-sized projects, the new Hydrotech Discfilter™ HSF2200-1C can is an automatic, self-cleaning filter equipped with self-cleaning nozzles that eliminate the need for a backwash strainer. Compared to its predecessor, it can withstand a higher differential pressure. Its filter space can accommodate up to 12 discs.

The compact unit boasts a maximum capacity set at 200 l/s, representing 10-15% additional filtration capacity while occupying a 20% smaller footprint – making it the choice filter system for retrofitting purposes. In the long run, users can expect lower investment cost and total ownership cost, as well as minimized maintenance and flexibility in construction materials.

Actiflo® Turbo

The Actiflo® Turbo clarifier has garnered positive references in the power industry for the pre-treatment of makeup water, cold lime softening, and side stream filtration. It is a high rate clarifier exclusively developed and patented by Veolia. With over 900 global references, it is an ideal solution for recycling process water and pre-treating boiler feed or water within a power plant cooling tower, the company said. Compared to conventional clarifiers, Actiflo has a small footprint and can be used for process water production, wastewater treatment, reuse and recycling, and storm water run-off treatment.

Aaron Seah, Regional Market Manager, Heavy Industries at Veolia Water Technologies. “As a leading water and wastewater solutions provider for the industry, Veolia sets high standards for its proprietary solutions.
