Vertellus, Orffa expand market for niacinamide

VERTELLUS and its distributor partner Orffa International have expanded their partnership to cover new markets, including Russia and parts of Africa and the Middle East. The agreement, which took effect on 19 May 2014, will address growing demand for niacinamide (Vitamin B3) in emerging and existing markets. These companies have been in business since 2002, starting with the distribution of animal nutrition products and niacinamide in the EU.

Vertellus, based in Indiana, USA, is a speciality chemicals company focused on the manufacture of ingredients used in pharmaceuticals, personal care, nutrition, agriculture, and other market areas affected by trends favouring “green” technologies and chemistries.

Orffa International is a major marketing and distribution organisation connecting speciality products to the needs of businesses in the animal feed and pharmaceutical industries. The new agreement coupled with its professional team of scientific experts, makes Orffa a one-stop supplier for customers who need value-added speciality products and services, said Maarten Breukink, general manager, Ingredients. The company has a central warehouse in the Netherlands and a network of satellite stores throughout Europe and in the Middle East.
