Water-Based Acrylic Nail Polish with SYNTRAN PC 5620-Red Pigmented Formulation

PROCEDURE:

Add SYNTRAN PC 5620 to batch tank. With constant agitation, slowly add 28% ammonium Hydroxide. With constant agitation add Phase B (Pigment dispersion). Stir until pigment is uniformly dispersed. In a separate vessel, premix Phase C with appropriate agitation. Slowly add Phase C to Phase A/B with constant agitation. Stir for 30 minutes and avoid aeration. Separately prepare a 12.5% wt/wt aqueous solution of Laponite XLS. Stir until clear and fully hydrated. Add Phase D to batch and stir for 15 minutes. Add Phase E to batch and stir for 15 minutes.

PROPERTIES:

pH : 7.8-8.4; solids: 46-48%
