Wipe tubs use metal, X-ray detectable polymer

DETECTAMET’s fully detectable dispensing tubs are made in the UK using the company’s patent-protected metal and X-ray detectable polymer. The tubs, which were launched less than a year after the debut of Detectamet 99.9 Surface and Probe Wipes, can be reused for things like pens.

The sturdy, tightly sealed tubs are designed to keep the wipes moist with their anti-microbial formulation. If the container gets damaged and ends up in food products, metal or X-ray inspection systems will identify the contamination and reject the pack before it is dispatched, according to CEO Sean Smith.

The alcohol-free Detectamet Wipes contain one of the fastest-acting and most powerful germ killing products in the market. They do not contain irritants yet can kill 99.9% of bacteria within 30 seconds of contact.
