Wittmann Battenfel expands Mexico facility

Continuing high demand for products from the WITTMANN Group México has led to a further expansion of Wittmann México Headquarters in Querétaro, Qro.

Since 1998 the WWittmann Group has directly supported and serviced the growing Mexican market with its own subsidiary. The business in Mexico has flourished and has grown to number a staff of 35 highly trained employees headed by Mr. Rodrigo Munoz and an equal number of subcontractors for optimum regional support.

Wittmann Battenfeld México is currently headquartered in a 700m2 building in the industrial hub of Querétaro with external sales and service locations in México City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Chihuahua and Cd. Juarez. The México headquarter provides ideal regional support within Mexico. It also provides a central location for spare parts and even complete products in inventory.

The current facility will be now expanded until the end of the 3rd quarter 2012 to a full size of over 1.100m2. Continuing growth in the Méxican marketplaces is driving WITTMANN BATTENFELD México's new build.

Mr. Rodrigo Munoz explains, that "the expansion will house a new technical and training center with complete workcells, offering the ability to provide customer training on molding machines with the control system UNILOG B6, robots with R8 and R7.2 control systems and miscellaneous trainings on peripheral equipments. Furthermore Wittmann Battenfeld  México will also be able to offer mold trials for machines up to 240t of clamping force."
