YoCrunch introduces strained Greek yoghurt

YoCrunch has released a new line of authentic Greek yoghurt under the name Yopa! (a contraction of Yo for yoghurt and Opa!, a cheer of joy in Greek). The product is made in the traditional method and from regionally-sourced milk.  About four gallons of milk go into a gallon of the yoghurt. There are no artificial colours, preservatives or sweeteners.

The yoghurt is available in vanilla and with four of the most popular fruit flavour combinations, including blueberry, strawberry, black cherry and peach. Topping choices are toasted almonds, whole grain granola and dark chocolate pieces.

Gabby Douglas, the 2012 two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and 2012 Associated Press Female Athlete of the Year, is the spokeswoman for Yopa! She is featured on the packaging, and in advertising and promotions. The tagline for Yopa!, “Balance Perfected,” complements both Gabby’s athletic prowess and her zest for life. “Growing up, I would always reach for YoCrunch because the variety of crunchy, flavourful toppings made me look forward to breakfast and it was something easy and affordable for my mom to give to me on the go,” reminisced Gabby. “The new Yopa! cups are the perfect food for me to have before a morning workout because they are packed with protein and all-natural ingredients that fuel me up for hours.”
