Zambello marches in Asia with advanced technology and premium products

     Established in the 1950s, Zambello riduttori Group remains a family-owned company and keeps its flexibility when working with plastics machine makers. Now the company produces gearboxes for single screw extruders and twin shaft extruders. There are also gearboxes for co-rotating twin shaft extruders and counter-rotating twin-shaft extruders for customers with different needs.
      Mr. Homer Lee, shares about the company's products that were introduced in Asia and the benefits they bring to customers.

How would you define Zambello's products to your target markets?
Mr. Lee: "Maintenance-free" is the main value we offer to our customers. Because we use precision machines to process our gearbox products, we guarantee maintenance-free operations to enable our customers to cut costs. For example, we purchase best grinding machines which shortened the processing time and ensured the accuracy as inspection is conducted before processing.
 
Zambello is a leading brand in gearbox sector, what is your competitive advantage in the Asian market?
Mr. Lee: We work with many outstanding extrusion and injection molding machine manufacturers all over the world. These experiences help us in developing the most appropriate products for the local market. In the future, we will reinforce our promotion of Zambello gearboxes on co-rotating twin shaft extruder line, counter-rotating twin-shaft extruder line, and conical counter-rotating twin shaft extruder line in the Asian market.
     We have 57 year-old experience in making gearboxes, especially extrusion gearboxes which contributes about 90% of our annual revenue. Aside from our history, we also keep up with the latest plastics trend in the world. This has given the assurance and reputation of Zambello riduttori Group as one of the most professional gearbox designers and makers in the sector.
 
How would you describe your Taiwan operations? 
Mr. Lee: Before 1992 Zambello riduttori Group was not familiar with the Far East market. During that time I, Mr. Homer Lee, was seeking for high quality extrusion line component suppliers for Taiwanese extrusion lines and I found this company. Since then I have been working with Zambello riduttori Group for over 20 years. In the beginning, Taiwanese customers were not familiar with this professional service as they make their own gearboxes, and each company has its own design. But our marketing here is good ever since I introduced this brand into Taiwan. There are always some challenges as business is just like that, but we will stand tall in Taiwan.
     Taiwan plastics machine manufacturers have to move forward into broader market, and among the many key factors that will enable them to do so is to have highly efficient components. Gearbox is the mover of the machines and we at Zambello realized that so that we continue to offer high quality products to our customers in markets around the world.
