The Meech CyClean™ has been designed in response to increased demand for a compact, high performance, non-contact web cleaning system. Through the application of advanced computational fluid dynamics, Meech has optimised the cleaning efficiency of CyClean to remove and extract contamination to below 1 micron. A CyClean system comprises three main components; the cleaning head, active static control and an Air Handling Unit (AHU). Product features:  Non contact cleaning. he double sided non-contact cleaning headhas been designed to provide excellent contamination removal, whilst minimisingany risk of web recontamination. On each side of the web there is a powerfulblowing airflow that strips the boundary layer and contamination from the websurface. Two vacuum airflows catch all the turbulent air and contamination fromwithin the cleaning head.
Each CyClean head incorporates fourshockless AC ionising bars; two positioned on either side of the web, one onentry to and one on exit from the head. Ionising bars ensure neutralisation ofany static charges on the web that are holding contaminants to the web surface.The risk of re-attraction of contaminants to the cleaned web surfaces is alsominimised.
The AHU provides the airflow and filtrationfor Meech web cleaning systems. The AHU is fabricated from stainless steel andis very compact, making it ideal for line side installation. Automatic airflowmonitoring and control within the AHU allows optimum cleaning performance to bemaintained as the integral filter becomes contaminated. The main labyrinthfilter is an F8 grade washable media that is efficient to 90-95% at 0.4 micron,or 100% at 1 micron. The AHU can also be upgraded to include a H13 grade HEPAfilter that is efficient to 99.99% at 0.3 micron.
