International Plastics News for Asia

The December issue is a special one because of the yearly Outlook Report where the editorial team gathers the views of industry experts from major companies on the future trends and how their companies develop products in response to these trends. Interestingly, the K 2025 exhibition took place in October where exhibitors demonstrated their innovations and these provided an additional input into the Outlook 2026 article. 

Mentioning K 2025, this issue also carries a postshow report on the highlights of the trade show and the feedback from some of the exhibitors. There is no doubt that K remains the most fitting venue to launch new technologies and this has been demonstrated at the show floor and in various events held during the exhibition.

The 2025 ASEAN Manufacturing Summit – Creating a Circular Economy for Plastics, organized by Ringier Events, was successfully held in Indonesia. As one of Ringier Events’ long-running conferences in Southeast Asia, the event proved to be an ideal venue for business networking and information exchange.
