Product Introduction

Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers (HALSs) are a class of highly effective light stabilizers for polymeric materials, providing long-term photostability through a unique radical scavenging mechanism. Unlike traditional UV absorbers that absorb UV radiation directly, HALSs offer superior protection against material degradation by inhibiting photo-oxidation through chemical means.

Working principle:
HALSs work through:
Radical scavenging: Trapping alkyl radicals generated during photo-oxidation to interrupt the degradation chain reaction;
Peroxide decomposition: Decomposing hydroperoxides produced during the photo-oxidation process;
Regenerative cycle: Part of the HALS can regenerate after its initial effect, achieving lasting protective effect

 

Benefits of FOPIA products:
