Hong Precision microdrilling machineries as the expert in the medical industrial development

We were fortunate to visit Hong Precision, one of the rare manufacturers who is experienced in the microdrilling machine tool field in Taiwan. The manager of Hong Precision Edward Liu stated in the interview that their microdrilling know-how has reached the global top standards and has the capacity to compete head-on with the quality products from Germany and Japan, as the only microdrilling machine tool builder in Taiwan.

The manager Edward also shared their fruitful participation in 2016 International Implantable and Interventional Medical Devices Emerging Technology Application Conference, held by Ringier Trade Media in Suzhou, China. At the conference Mr. Liu was able to exchange constructive knowledge with other participants, while receiving great feedbacks in the implantable medical device session. Mr. Liu emphasized that their machineries always passed the quality control test set by their customers before stepping into a long-term cooperation. It is therefore guaranteed for the users that their defection rate is controlled to the lowest in meeting customers’ request.

Hong Precision’s equipment can be tailor-made for the customer, especially when their factory needs greater integrations (such as modifying gauges and fixures). Model XL-500A can drill the smallest hole by Ø2mm with the 250mm at depth. Hong Precision’s customers are well spread out across the globe, including a Sino-US joint venture medical company.

The crucial reason for Hong’s machinery to be unique is the ability in processing titanium, stainless steel, as well as other rare materials.
