GOODWAY Machine Corp. traces its origins to 1975, when the company was established with a small facility and began with contract machining services while developing desktop lathes. In 1976, GOODWAY introduced its first TMB-25 lathe series, which recorded 2,470 units sold within three years. In 1984, the company successfully launched its first self-developed CNC lathe, the CNC405, laying the foundation for its long-term focus on CNC turning technology. GOODWAY later expanded its global presence by establishing a Los Angeles branch in 1980, YAMA SEIKI USA, INC. in 2000, and GOODWAY Suzhou in 2003. In 2002, the company invested in AWEA Mechantronic Co., Ltd., forming the GOODWAY Group, and in 2008, its stock was publicly listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange under ticker symbol 1583. Today, GOODWAY markets its brand worldwide, offering multi-axis, vertical, horizontal, and SWISS-type turn-mill machining centers, together with high-precision cylindrical grinding machines.
