Company Introduction
WALRUS PUMP Co., Ltd. was founded in 1967 and is one of Taiwan’s long-established water pump brands, with decades of experience in pump design, R&D, manufacturing, and sales services. The company began as “San Ching Company,” was renamed “Walrus Industrial Co., Ltd.” in 1978, and established a professional motor pump manufacturing base in Sanzhi, Taipei County in 1989. In 1990, WALRUS introduced plastic injection molding equipment and invested in engineering plastic pump components, followed by in-house motor development in 1991, gradually strengthening its core pump technology and manufacturing capabilities.
Today, WALRUS offers residential, industrial, and commercial pump solutions for applications such as household water supply, drainage, coolant and cutting fluid delivery for machine tools, and high-volume water supply for buildings and commercial facilities. The company continues to invest in product development and energy-saving technology, including the adoption and development of IE3–IE4 motors to improve overall pump energy efficiency. WALRUS has also built a pump power laboratory and operates manufacturing facilities in New Taipei, Kaohsiung, and Suzhou to strengthen product validation, machining precision, and production quality. In 2023, the company became a public company and was officially listed on Taiwan’s Emerging Stock Board, continuing its development toward intelligent, high-efficiency, and internationally competitive pump solutions.
