Headquartered in Mumbai, AIPMA also operates regional offices in Gurugram, Chennai, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad, serving plastics industry members across India. The association acts as an industry representative and communication platform, supporting members with policy updates, regulatory information, industry activities, member resources, and business development opportunities.
AIPMA’s services include membership platforms, industry events, plastics industry information, member directories, export support, and Certificate of Origin services. The association is authorized by India’s Directorate General of Foreign Trade（DGFT）to issue Certificates of Origin to exporters, helping plastics companies strengthen export operations and expand into domestic and international markets.
In sustainability and regulatory support, AIPMA is also involved in plastic waste management, Extended Producer Responsibility（EPR）, recycling, and co-processing initiatives. Through these activities, the association helps members address plastic waste management requirements and environmental compliance while supporting a more responsible and sustainable plastics industry in India.
