Company Introduction
Zambello Group was founded in 1957 and has long specialized in gearboxes, speed variators, and drive systems for extrusion machinery. In 1985, the group began developing high-efficiency helical gearboxes specifically for plastic extrusion equipment, later expanding into single-screw, twin-screw, high-torque, and special-application gearbox ranges.
Zambello Riduttori 2 operates from the Lendinara production site in Italy, focusing on serial production of small and medium gearboxes for single-screw and twin-screw extruders with screw diameters from approximately Ø25 mm to Ø120 mm. It also manufactures reducers for medium-tonnage injection molding machines. The group’s Magnago site focuses on larger gearboxes for single-screw and twin-screw extruders, including systems for larger screw diameters and high-tonnage injection molding machines.
Its gearboxes are used in blown film, cast film, blow molding, pipe and profile extrusion, sheet, thermoforming, compounding, masterbatch, recycling, feed, biofuel, chemical, and petrochemical applications. Zambello also develops Zambello Production Systems and the Zambello Monitoring System, integrating process automation and sensor-based monitoring of gears, bearings, and lubricating oil to help customers improve drive efficiency, machine reliability, predictive maintenance, and production-line stability.
