TAILIFT Group originated from Tai Piin Industrial Co., Ltd., which was founded by Mr. Hsi-Wen Lin in Daya, Taichung, in 1973.

The company initially focused on machining services and radial drilling machines. In 1975, it began the mass production and sale of radial drilling machines under the TAIPIIN brand. It later expanded into material handling, sheet metal processing, and industrial automation equipment.

In 1989, TAILIFT established its punching machine division and entered the CNC sheet metal equipment market. The company subsequently developed CNC turret punch presses, fiber laser cutting machines, laser tube cutting machines, laser welding equipment, CNC press brakes, and automatic panel bending centers.

According to the company, its sheet metal processing equipment has served more than 5,000 customers worldwide. TAILIFT continues to provide integrated technical solutions for laser and sheet metal processing.

In recent years, TAILIFT has expanded into new-energy and smart manufacturing applications. Its solutions include power battery laser welding equipment, automated battery production lines, intelligent warehouses, stacker cranes, shuttle systems, AMRs, AGVs, and warehouse information management systems.

Through this development, TAILIFT has transformed from a traditional machinery manufacturer into a provider of automation equipment and integrated system solutions.

The company operates its group headquarters in Nantou and maintains a business location in Daya, Taichung. It also has factories or service locations in Nantong, Qingdao, and Dongguan, China, together with sales and service representatives in markets including the United States, India, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
