The company’s history began in 1968. It entered lathe manufacturing under the name CHIN HO Machinery Factory in 1973 and was reorganized as CHIN HUNG MACHINERY CO., LTD. in 1980. “金和車床” remains its established Chinese brand name, while KINWA is used internationally.
KINWA machines serve oil and gas pipe, automotive-component, precision-parts, medical-equipment and automation-machinery applications. The company provides standard machines and customized solutions based on workpiece size, machining accuracy, spindle-bore and automation requirements.
According to the company, more than 600 KINWA machines have been exported to Japan and more than 4,000 to the United States.
