Earth-Chain specialises in magnetic workholding, lifting and manufacturing-automation technologies. The company began as a metal-component contract manufacturer and later developed its own magnetic tools and workholding systems under the E.C.E brand.

Its MagVise systems are used with vertical machining centres, horizontal machining centres, double-column machining centres, grinding machines and automated machining cells. Compared with conventional vises and mechanical clamps, magnetic workholding can reduce setup points, improve tool access and shorten workpiece-loading and changeover time.

For precision machining, the company offers EEPG grinding chucks and EEPML linear-guideway chucks. These systems support thin components, linear guideways and elongated workpieces while distributing the holding force across the contact surface and reducing deformation caused by concentrated mechanical clamping.

For plastic injection moulding, the EEPM-PIM system uses magnetic force to secure moulds. It reduces manual bolting and unbolting work, helping manufacturers shorten mould-change time, reduce machine downtime and improve operational safety.

Earth-Chain also integrates magnetic fixtures with CNC machine tools, robots, monitoring platforms and production-management systems. Its AI-enabled smart demonstration factory, completed in 2022, supports real-time monitoring of machine status, output, utilisation and production schedules.

The company’s main value is its ability to develop magnetic workholding as an integrated platform for machining, robotic loading and smart manufacturing. Chuck dimensions, pole layouts, control systems, clamping directions and automation interfaces can be configured according to each workpiece and production process.
