Resson’s technical background dates back to Easson International, established in 1997 to develop EASSON linear encoders and digital counters. Resson Technologies was established in 2005 to create a clearly identified Taiwan-based company and brand, while expanding into video measurement and optical-inspection equipment.
Linear encoders can be installed on milling machines, lathes, grinders, boring machines and other production equipment. They convert machine displacement into digital signals and provide real-time position readings through a digital display. Different measuring lengths and resolutions are available for specific machining ranges and accuracy requirements.
The optical scales use glass gratings, infrared optical sensing and five-bearing reading-head structures. Oil-resistant and anti-ageing seals support stable movement and reliable measurement in industrial environments. Selected models provide resolutions down to 0.0005 mm with TTL or RS-422 output.
EVM series video-measuring machines combine colour CCD cameras, zoom lenses, precision stages, linear encoders, digital readouts and 2.5D measuring software. They measure profiles, distances, diameters, angles and other geometric features.
Resson’s main value is the integration of position measurement, digital display, optical imaging and measuring software within one product platform. This helps manufacturers improve machining accuracy, first-article inspection and production-quality control.
