Shyng Wei integrates the principal stages of nonwoven manufacturing into complete production systems. Front-end equipment opens, blends and feeds fibres. Carding and cross-lapping systems control fibre distribution, web uniformity and material thickness. Downstream systems apply needle punching, through-air bonding, thermal calendering, drying, winding and slitting according to the required product.
The company supplies production lines for thermal-bonded nonwovens, through-air fabrics, waddings, needle-punched carpets, automotive interiors, garment interlinings, spray-bonded materials, resin-bonded waddings and coconut-fibre products. Equipment can be engineered according to fibre type, working width, material weight, production speed and finishing requirements.
Shyng Wei began developing high-pressure hydroentanglement-line equipment in Taiwan in 1993. In 1994, it developed a 2.5-metre high-speed thermal and through-air line together with high-speed slitting machinery. Its engineering priorities include higher output, faster production, consistent web quality and lower operating costs.
The company provides individual machines, complete-line engineering, automation, installation, commissioning and technical support. This integrated approach helps nonwoven manufacturers reduce coordination between multiple equipment suppliers and establish a production process suited to their target products. Shyng Wei’s machinery has been supplied to markets across Asia, the Americas, Oceania, the Middle East and Africa.
