Company Introduction
Founded in 1965, FCFC originally developed as an integrated fiber and textile manufacturer producing rayon, yarn, fabrics and processed textile products.
The company subsequently expanded into petrochemicals and plastics, establishing PTA production in 1987 and PS and ABS manufacturing operations during the 1990s. Its participation in Formosa Plastics Group's Mailiao petrochemical complex further expanded its portfolio into aromatic chemicals, styrene, phenol, polypropylene, polycarbonate and other materials.
Today, FCFC operates a diversified materials business covering commodity polymers, engineering plastics, petrochemical intermediates and specialty fibers.
The company also continues to develop higher-value and sustainable materials, including recycled functional yarns, bio-based nylon fibers, graphene fibers and recycled marine-plastic fibers.
