Hurco VM10Ui 5-axis machine breezes through a multiple sided part with simultaneous 5-axis tool path

Hurco VM10Ui Simultaneous 5-axis machining centre is an ideal addition to your shop floor as a 1st step towards true 5-axis capability. Equipped with an Italian built Ø198mm trunnion table, you can easily mill up to a maximum part size of Ø 280 x 200mm (height). The trunnion table set-up is easy to understand and provides good access and visibility to your machinist for part set up and monitoring the machining process.

This demo features an aluminium part measuring 130 x 150 x 150mm programmed using NCGCAM. The demo showcases milling at multiple planes and compound angles in one single set-up. The cutting time of the part is further reduced using simultaneous 5-axis tool path to optimize the cutting strategy: reduce tool overhang and minimise tool interference.
