Osprey® MAR 55

Osprey® MAR 55 is a carbide-strengthened Ni-Co-Cr-Mo steel containing up to 0.2 wt.% C, along with Ni, Co, Mo, and Cr. It is primarily designed for excellent PBF-LB processability without the need for plate preheating, targeting tooling applications that require hardness levels above 50 HRC and wear resistance exceeding that of the 18-Ni class of maraging steels.
