Stable Power in Motion: 2,000-ton gantry hydraulic press for high-precision deep drawing

This video captures a live forming operation using DEES HYDRAULIC INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD.’s HD Series HD-2000 (2,000-ton) gantry-type hydraulic press, built in 2019 and designed for deep drawing and stretch forming applications.

 

The footage highlights how the press’s hydraulic system performs precise multi-stage speed switching and pressure control throughout the entire forming cycle—covering the downstroke, dwell/holding phase, and return stroke under long-stroke, high-load conditions. This controlled motion keeps the ram highly stable during forming, even at extreme tonnage.

 

As a result, the system delivers more uniform material thickness, improved dimensional repeatability, and well-managed die loading. These capabilities make the HD-2000 especially well suited for mass production and continuous forming of deep-drawn components that demand high forming force, process stability, and consistent repeat accuracy.
