CLF-5000TPII is a 5000-ton two-platen injection molding machine engineered for ultra-large plastic parts and heavy-duty industrial applications. As Taiwan’s first 5000-ton ultra-large two-platen injection molding machine, it represents a major milestone in CLF’s large-tonnage injection molding technology and heavy-machinery manufacturing capabilities.

The CLF TPII Series combines a high-rigidity machine structure, high-performance clamping system, and space-saving two-platen architecture to provide stable and precise molding performance for large-scale production. Compared with conventional toggle machines of equivalent tonnage, the two-platen design can reduce overall machine length by approximately 15–20%, helping manufacturers optimize factory space and production-line planning.

For the CLF-5000TPII project, CLF integrated an electric-servo charging system and energy-saving technologies designed for heavy-tonnage production. According to CLF’s long-term comparative testing, the system can reduce power consumption by approximately 20–50% compared with conventional hydraulic drives during volume production. The machine also features reinforced heavy-duty platens and precision process control to support stable molding of large plastic components.

This 5000-ton injection molding machine was developed for a top-tier U.S. logistics and retail equipment supplier and will be used to manufacture heavy-duty plastic bulk bins for produce and modern logistics applications. The platform was configured to support molded parts weighing up to 42 kg, providing additional flexibility for future product and mold development.
