CHINAPLAS: SIKORA innovative measuring technology and sorting solutions

From April 15 to 18, 2025, SIKORA will showcase advanced measuring, control, and sorting technologies for the hose, tube, pipe, and plastics industry at Chinaplas in Shenzhen. Visitors can explore the latest innovations, including the LASER PRO Series for diameter measurement, and engage with experts in a welcoming setting.

The LASER PRO Series sets new standards in diameter measurement for hoses and tubes, covering product sizes from 0.1 to 51 mm. Using diffraction analysis and laser diodes, it delivers 10,000 precise measurements per second, ensuring maximum accuracy and repeatability, even at high speeds and under vibration.

The CENTERWAVE 6000 system enables efficient inline measurement of tubes and pipes with diameters from 32 mm to 1,600 mm. Thanks to a continuously rotating transceiver and millimeter wave technology, it provides 360-degree diameter and wall thickness measurements immediately after the first vacuum tank. This optimizes extrusion tool centering, minimizes material consumption, and enhances sustainability.

In the plastics segment, the PURITY CONCEPT V offers rapid optical analysis of opaque and amorphous pellets, flakes, or test sheets. It detects black and colored impurities as small as 50 µm within a minute, providing a test certificate and HSV color chart for quality control.

The X-RAY 6000 PRO, based on X-ray technology, continuously measures wall thickness, eccentricity, and diameter in extrusion lines. Integrated with the ECOCONTROL 6000 processor system, it enables precise wall thickness reduction, leading to significant material and cost savings from day one.
