Sun Lung Gear is a regular exhibitor of IPF, and this year marked the company’s fourth appearance. General Manager Liao Cheng-Yu was excited to announce the company’s revolutionary strategies that would benefit the quality and efficiency of production. Sun Lung’s new smart factory is in line with the concept of green manufacturing – including energy saving and rainwater harvesting approaches. The new production lines are also equipped with fully automated smart machines to operate 7/24, consisting of KUKA robots, and management systems to strengthen surveillance on production (e.g. Cloud and warning system).
General Manager Liao Cheng-Yu said that that Sun Lung showcased pioneering products at IPF, “We hope to introduce our gearbox for single-screw extruders, counter-rotating parallel twin extruders, and precision gears with the most value-added products to more customers in Japan, as they are widely adopted by our customers who manufacture plastic extrusion machines, injection machines, power generators and so on. We also strive to meet world-class quality at par with German, Italian and Japanese gearbox conglomerates. At the same time, we also would like to be persistent in our competitive advantages as a Taiwanese manufacturer – which allows us of great resilience in instant customization of gearboxes”. In 2017, Sun Lung witnessed a growth in revenue by 20%, “We will use the growth to invest in recruiting professional finance managers, and product managers for our new factory”, Mr. Liao Cheng-Yu added.
