Polykemi Group has opened an €18m manufacturing facility in Gastonia, North Carolina, enabling the Swedish plastic compounder to supply the same plastic compounds in North America as in Asia and Europe. The facility will employ 20 people in its first year and have a production capacity of 6,500 tons on two twin-extrusion lines.
